There aren't enough damned hours in the day. The time I enjoy most is the evening, yet you've got to keep watching the clock and think about getting up in the morning.

Well I say to the time, I'm going to stay up as long as I want tonight, carry on doctor again is on in a minute, and I'm going to watch it. And after that I might watch one of my other films, and then have a few games on splinter cell or ssx tricky.

I'll go to work tomorrow feeling a bit twitchy, and about dinnertime the tiredness will hit me full blast. Several coffees will sort that out, but come 6 o clock I'll be in a dream like state with undertones of a psychotic nature. I will then plan my project viva for thursday, before passing out in a knackered mess come 10 o clock.

Screw you time, you won't beat me ....

I believe if you go without sleep for 2 weeks you go insane.

Whats the longest you've gone without sleep, and how did you feel ?

About 50 hours when on a University foreign field trip.

We went out at about 6pm, stayed out until 5, went down to the beach and messed around, back to the hotel for breakfast, out all day doing fieldwork, back for evening meal, quick change and shower, out again until breakfast, packed stuff ready to leave, out one the beach and drinking all day, back at 10 for the coach to the airport, arrive at airport 11:30, hour check in, another hour through security, 12 hour flight delay, 4 hour flight, coach at airport not there when we get back, two hours later replacement turns up, hour back to University, half hour to home....collapse and spend rest of day in bed.

Seemed pretty fun, until the 12 hour delay bit.....

It's my back I have to sleep for, more than anything... if I stay awake too long, it really does fack me around a bit... well, nice soft bed is helpful. If I don't sleep in a bed for a while, I get really crap.
