Can anyone tell me what you do if ones TV does not have a scart socket and your Video only has the one.

Can you get an adapter to go into the RF /co ax connector

Also, if with DVD playback through the primary scart the picture is green what can you do???

I guess as my vid has only the one socket it would cause this prob.

Thanks for some of the constructive comments,

However both my TV and Vid in my bedroom are getting on a bit and have no scockets available other than the 1 scart on the vid and obviously the RF in and outs.

So looks like its a case of using the vids scart and or getting an adapter.

BTW I have not got a PS1 and so would not know what the connectors r like.

Thanks

the rf lead which came with the old playstation will work just fine, as will a 3rd party playstation rf lead.

they're pretty cheap to pick up.

You.. you didn't know that already?!?!? lol!!!

Sorry! But yes, you can use the coloured leads with your VCR, and the best thing I like about it is you can easily get surround sound with it.

And you can videotape your gameplay!

Thinking about it, the scart lead that comes with the ps2 has a removable head, with av leads underneath (red, white yellow), which you can use instead.

The ps2 itself only comes with a scart adapter, although third parties have made a normal RF lead to replace it. Fortunately, I'd just replaced my tv before I got a ps2, but my friend suffered this problem and found an appropriate replacement, although the picture quality is obviously not up to the same standard as scart.
