Anyone been watching the Scottish football today? Rangers v Dunfermline and Kilmarnock v Celtic simultaneously on BBC1 and BBC2.

Same points. At the start of the matches the goal difference was also the same, Rangers being ahead having scored 1 more.

10 miutes left. Rangers are 5 - 1 up and Celtic 3 - 0 up.

Celtic just had there second penalty of the match. Alan Thompson has just missed.

Rangers are now a goal ahead on goal difference. So its not going to finish with a play off, but it has been exciting, as every goal so far this afternoon has changed the top of the league.

Football, ah the fun.

That is what title races shoul always be like I think. It is just so tense.

It was Blackburn who challenged, and won in 1995. Otherwise, previously, Aston Villa, Leeds United and Liverpool challenged in the early days. and in Scotland it's always been a two-horse race between the Glaswegian teams. Bar when Queen's Park and Third Lanark were dominant in the late 19th century, and when Motherwell challenged in the '30s, and Aberdeen in the '80s.

They'll probably never change. Until Rangers and Celtic move to England, that is. Which will probably never happen. Ah well.

And it's always a two-horse race in England as well, anyway. In 11-12 years of Premiership football, one (I think) team other than Man United or Arsenal have won.

I can't believe it was won on goal-difference...!
I bet we don't see another one in years!

But, once again, it was another "2-horsed race".

When will things in Scotland change??

I'd guess at penalties.

If it went to the play-off and they are level after 90 minutes. Would it go to extra-time then penalties OR a replay?

Was a great way to end the season.

I still think that it would have been great to see them end even on points, goal difference and goals scored just to see them have to play each other in a play off for the title.

That would have been a great game to see.

Title could of gone to any near the end.

Just imagine if they BOTH had a penalty on the 90th minute, and were both level on Goals scored and Goal difference.

That would of been better.
