Yes, I know the last one hasn't been judged yet. I'm sure tnc will get around to it later. But so many people wanted to join in that I've decided to carry on and set the next one.

For those new to the whole thing, here's how it works:
- Topic and rules (wordcount etc) are set in this post
- Everyone writes a story based on the topic with their own spin on it.
- The Title must be SSC3 + your title (ie: SSC3 - The man in the moon)
- Judging begins on the closing date
- Winner gets to set up the next SSC and admiration from everyone else.

Ok, so here's Number 3:

Topic: "Full Moon"
Wordcount: Over 800 words
Closing Date: 9am 3rd November - Winner announced that day. (delayed until Ineedsleep has finished).

Now, go write!

Result:

Right, bit of a delay, but the result is here.

Another tough one to judge as well. All good stories and all different.

But there can only be one winner (etc etc) and that is:

Sibelius with 'Silver Penny Moon Legend' - it was enchanting in a strange way and entirely different.

Congrats on the win :)

Pb - you were early setting the deadline.

Did you pick the title because you'd been looking in a diary checking bonfire night and noticed it?

Or are you a worshipper of the moon?

Or is it a spooky coincidence that this weekend is the weekend of the full moon?

.. it is fuller tonight then it was last night :D

Slightly unexpected. Thanks pb. I'm glad you found it enchanting. I think that's why I enjoy writing - to create enchanting moments/things. It's a hit and miss affair, and I'm never quite sure if I go too far in an abstract/quirky direction.

Okay, I'll make a new SSC sometime tomorrow.

No it was different, but I'd edit the story a bit.......
Can I?

Edit: Scratch that, my dumb brother must have deleted it off of the documents. Along with the rest of my stories.
