Does anybody know of a proven product which will protect games/DVD disc surfaces as in 'Defender'? I bought some ordinary CD Defender covers but once applied the game or DVD is so slow I shouldn't have bothered. In some cases the game will not work at all. I understand that a DVD compatible cover is available but where do I get them???

sorry ssx pro i think you have mistaken disk protectors with jewel cases - he means the thin film plastic covers (like a special sticker) that you apply to the underside of the disk which stops them getting scrached. i have seen them here in New Zealand but thats no help. i think the main difference is that they are made slightly thinner and are more opaque for better calarity for the laser

You could try the box it comes in. That protects it well. The difference between CD protectors and DVD protectors is the shape. CD protectors are square.
