I have a problem with my PS2 in that DVDs often loose sync between sound and pictures - which is cured by pressing pause and then playing again.
It is really annoying, for example, I watched Jurassic Park the other evening and it was like watching an old episode of Monkey! Lips, sound all over the place - has anyone else got this problem or is it just my PS2?
Older DVDs seem to have some problems, but you just press O, then X to play again. It takes only a few seconds, and sorts the problem out. It also gives your eyes a rest from staring at the screen.
I bought my machine a month ago and every DVD I've bought has this problem. It's got to the point where than rather than enjoying the DVD option I spend the whole time waiting for the problem to rear its ugly head....not that relaxing!
Not only this but it now appears that the machine is eating my games...that is scoring the disc to the point where the game is no longer functioning.
At £40.00 a game it's a lot of money to have spent to have on something written off in just under a month.
Sony??? what have you spawned?????
Should have bought a Dreamcast and a seperate DVD player.
Sony....you are the weakest link!!!!
Anyone want to buy it from me????
