Memory cards, people don't just put memory cards in for the fun of it. They bring something that cannot necessarily be brought by anything else. Sharing, if you want to give your WWF superstar to another person they can copy him/her from an N64 memory pack. If you want to copy a boarder from a snowboarding game then you can do it through the Playstation memory cards.
People will want to swap and trade their charachters and unless microsoft have enabled an e-mail function for this it is going to be pretty hard. People are not going to want to lend their mate their new X-Box hard drive! Hello?! Memory cards are essential for such a time as this, in the video-gaming industry.
What do you think? Will Microsoft have to change their console at the last minute? Will the public accept another 'spec' change or will it ruin Microsofts chances of high sales figures?
