We left in the interval because we couldn't stand his tired, lifeless and just plain bad jokes. Loads of people in the crowd were laughing though - he obviously has his hardcore fans - but then we realised that the bar at the Corn Exchange is really close to the auditorium, and Cambridge has a lot of drunks. Wasted night though? Not on your nelly - me and girliefriend had a great laugh talking about how bad the night was and getting soaked in the rain on the way home, planning which pubs we're going to get slaughtered in next time we go out.

Highlight of the night: Pizza Hut upping our small pizzas to medium for free because they ran out! Huzzah!

It also works out unfairly. The more you spend, the more you need to leave as the tip. Therefore if you've been stretched to byu a fancy meal, you will then be required to pay even more. Cheap food is much, well, cheaper. :-)

Bah, I don't leave tips anyway. If I get asked for one I usually say "Yeah, it'll be 1% of your wage this week", which, whilst not really funny, big or clever, startles your average waiter long enough for you to have made an exit.

I always feel stingy when leaving a tip. You’re meant to tip around 15%, aren’t you? So when you’ve had a pretty cheep meal you only leave like £2, I suppose over the night if every customer leaves that amount it would build up.

I tried to give a tip to the guy in Royal Chicken after he went through a lot of hassle for a big order for a par-tay at my house, and he gave it back to me with the change :-D

I always leave a tip*, but at Pizza Hut I enjoy leaving it.

*except when the serive is really really pants.

I never heard of anyone tipping the pizza making people though.

I remember somebody asked for an indivdual... there was none left or medium so they got a large.

Last time I went to pizza hut we got a whole pizza free because they over did the first one a tiny weeny bit.

Pizza hut are great.
