Some scrappy play in the Ireland vs Italy game, though glad to see the Irish won.
I'm disappointed, but not suprised, that Scotland lost to France though.

i guess we have to look to our olympic superstars for inspiration. Like our cycling team. We thrashed the world.

Incase anyone cares on here...England lost again! This time fellow celts Ireland beat them by a single point.
France had the upper hand against Wales, successfully defending against a cracking attempt by the boys in red in the dying minutes of the game. Close match despite France having control over most of the 2nd half.
I didn't catch the Scotland Italy game, but if I heard right, Scotland came out convincingly as the victors.
Ireland look set for the Grand Slam, though Wales could still hold on to their Grand Slam title if they win against Scotland and then Ireland. France are still in it too.
Italy look set to receive the wooden spoon. with Scotland and England fighting for 4th place at the moment.

got another 3 years before we need to worry about that...anyway, England don't have an Olympic team...it's team GB :P
