What's the best program to use to convert audio tracks on a CD to MP3 format on PC?

I tried media player but it was rubbish.

I'll use anything providing I can download it for free.

DB Power Amp is what I use. Converts MP3s to wavs or wavs to MP3s or CDs to MP3s.

Definately. Easy to use, reliable, interface with CDDB, many options to customise should you wish. Free download too, you know it makes sense.

I was just about to mention MMJB. I'm going to use it when I get my iPod.

Yeah, I found one called FreeRIP at download.com.

It's perfect, less than a MB in size, and rips tracks from CD to MP3 quite quickly.

The older version of winamp let you do it easily.

Not sure of anything of the top of my head that does it as there is all the legal mumbo jumbo about ripping CD's onto your PC.
