I've got OmniHTTPd which worked fine on my Win98 machine. However, now I'm on WinXP (a new PC) I'm given the 'Standard CGI Launch Error' every time I try and goto a Page through my local server.

http://127.0.0.1/ - http://localhost/
http://127.0.0.2/ - http://haignet.co.uk/
http://127.0.0.3/ - http://mmcaws.co.uk/

... all worked fine before but none work now.

I've gone though the OmniHTTPd help pages and as of yet have not come up with any correction, or reasons as to the 'Standard CGI Launch Error', and as far as I knew, Perl didn't come with the server, but as I followed the default installation of ActivePerl, should working correctly??

I've un-installed it and re-installed it a couplwe of times, but nothing comes of it, same old error.

I've checked that all the locations are refered to correctly, and they all point to when they should go, so I'm stuck as to where to go next.

I have no plan on using any CGI or Perl, but as this error won't even allow me to view normal pages, I am in a bit of a muddle.

Does anyone else use OmniHTTPd and have had this problem ... and more so, know how to correct it??

Thanks to anyone who can assist me.
