i ordered the encore dvd750 just after christmas and still have not received it.
when i placed the order on the internet it said that it was in stock. that was now over a month ago.
has anybody else had this problem with this particular player.

Yes, that's the same situation as I have.
I ordered the Encore DVD player from Special Reserve in mid January, hoping i would have it by my birthday on the 27th, but i still haven't received it.
However I phoned them this morning and they said they expect new stocks at the beginning of February, so they should be sent within the next week.
So with any luck we'll both be playing DVD's to our hearts content within the week.
Fingers crossed.
