There is only one way that you can compare which console has
the best graphics and that is with the CHIP!

as far as they go the psx 2 cannot generate the kind of grapics th xbox or gamecube can, even if the polygon count is better, they dont look as good
eg,

just 1 simultanius texture,
less effects than the rest,
slower,
more dated.

and even tho the poly count on the ps2 is a raw one
so the gamecube has what it is in game so the gamecube and
psx2 are proberly bout the same.

the xbox is undoubtedly faster, but it is using more pc like parts not disigned for a console wereas the other 2
are.

the gamecube has a chip ( grapics) about the same as the xbox. even tho the box has more ram, the gamecube can have more simultanius effects. so the polygons are '' prettey''

besides the controller for the xbox is a load of pies.
looks like a cheap third party seaga saturn one.

the cube and xbox thash the beans outta the ps2.

the other thing to remembre is that microsoft are too powerful and most of the people i no all think that the xbox should be a big flop.

surely the xbox won't have the pc equivenlents to the p4 and geforce3, that would cost a fortune...

Ok so despite microsofts c**kup on the forging of their screen-shots the graphics are still going to be damm good, just look at the chips specs:

NVIDA Geforce 3 arcitecture, with an added graphics engine to make skins and textures look more photorealistic.

64 megs yes 64 megabites of graphics, over 3 times more than the PS2.

And of course don't forget the P4 for intel

Basically microsoft can not and will not fail, their monopoly is about to go up ten-fold and theres nothing we can do to stop it. If Sony, Sega, or Nintendo try to put up their spec microsoft will simply take theirs ansd triple it.

Lets face it gamers the PS2's gaming days are numbered.

It's what you do with it that counts.

No doubt all of the next generation consoles are capable of producing top graphics, but if the games aren't much cop, then the console won't be successfull.

Comparing each consoles chips, and architecture is pretty pointless. We'll see which console we each prefer once there are some games available for them.
