Just got a shiny new copy of Army of Darkness Collectors Edition on DVD. You get two versions, the US theatrical one and the directors cut, which I plan to watch tomorrow.

You also get the original ending, which I hadn't seen before, where ash wakes up in the future. And finally 4 out-takes which are pretty good.

yeah, i saw the demon one first, and of the two I'd probably say this is more true to the films, plus it gives bruce the chance to come out with one of his best one liners.

You've never seen the alternate ending? The UK VHS version ended with Ash waking up in the future, to see England totally wrecked. Then, quite unusual for videos at the time, it had the alternate US ending after the film had finished, with Ash battling demons in the store. Well, one demon.

Excellent film.

I really should get around to getting Army of Darkness on dvd. Classic movie.
