I've formatted an old 3GB hard-drive. The read/write speed had been decreased to almost zero so I thought if I wiped it it might help. However I formatted it and know it thinks it is 3MB. Any ideas how to fix it?
Yep, hardly runs, i.e. leave it for ages and it has done nothing. You're probably right though.
Sounds to me like it's buggered, mate. Have you tried a thorough scan?
