So, not long now until England's first game on the 15th against India.

A very encouraging warm-up game today. Good to see Freddie getting back on form. Also Yardy and Dalrymple, who both took wickets and scored pretty quickly, are looking great. Hopefully the team's performace today can be repeated throughout the competition.

What do you reckon then? I know the next games aren't going to be so easy probably but are England in with a good chance, despite new, young players in the squad?

There was just no run support after the openers got out. Only Collingwood stuck around.

England's one day team is not looking good still.

New Zealand struggling at 134-9 against Sri Lanka at the minute I expect it won't be long before they're all out for less than 140.

The West Indies V Australia game was good. Something was really eating at Gayle, as he seemed to have a lot to say.

I wish England allowed Monty Panesar to be part of their limited overs team. He always seems to have great economy whilst being a good wicket taker, his fielding has vastly improved, with him proving this several times in past tests and even his batting is pretty good now. I know this obviously won't make everything perfect in the team, but I think the bowling at the moment is a bit wild and quite expensive. Then again England already have two brilliant slow bowlers who are also handy with a bat. And I'm sure Harmison will find a good line and length soon enough.

Paskistans Akhtar and Asif have failed dope tests and have been pulled from the squad for tomorrows game.

The Pakistan Cricket Board are going to make a statement later on today so we'll know more then.

Well, England did manage 6 wickets but India made the total easily. It was what I feared might happen. England is not as good in one-dayers as they are in tests.

All out for 125. England are going to need some serious luck.

Well this isn't looking good at all. 3 wickets down already, as the commentator said this game is echoing the West Indies vs Sri Lanka one.

I'm not expecting much from England except some improvement in one day form.

I've seen a couple of the West Indies games and they look pretty good.
