If Mellberg goes, that will mean that Villa could be facing a relegation battle. Also hope Vassells contract would hurry up and be sorted out.

Dissapointing season for us and can't believe that you did the double over us AND finish above us. If somebody told me that at the start of the season, I would of just laughed in their faces.


Our Away win was against Middlesbrough, who surprisingly had a very strong Home record. That was when Gudjohnsen scored on his debut in the 5-2 win.

I read that Mellberg wants to leave... we'll see what happens.

Those 70 fouls sounds alot and it is, no excuses for it...


16th Aston Villa Played 38 games...

(Home form) Won 11 Drawn 2 Lost 6 goals scored 25 goals conceded 14

(Away form) Won 1 Drawn 7 Lost 11 goals scored 17 goals conceded 33

Total season goal difference -5 total season pts 45

Villa won just 1 away game all season... but the home form was pretty good in comparison with 11 home wins.
