I was walking passed an Evening Mail stand yesterday and the side of the box advert said...
Olof 'I may have to go'
Also i saw something on Teletext (page 390)
Dunno what the exact ins and outs are or indeed if any of it carries any weight.

:-)
If Mellberg goes, that will mean that Villa could be facing a relegation battle. Also hope Vassells contract would hurry up and be sorted out.
Dissapointing season for us and can't believe that you did the double over us AND finish above us. If somebody told me that at the start of the season, I would of just laughed in their faces.
Our Away win was against Middlesbrough, who surprisingly had a very strong Home record. That was when Gudjohnsen scored on his debut in the 5-2 win.

I read that Mellberg wants to leave... we'll see what happens.
Those 70 fouls sounds alot and it is, no excuses for it...
16th Aston Villa Played 38 games...
(Home form) Won 11 Drawn 2 Lost 6 goals scored 25 goals conceded 14
(Away form) Won 1 Drawn 7 Lost 11 goals scored 17 goals conceded 33
Total season goal difference -5 total season pts 45
Villa won just 1 away game all season... but the home form was pretty good in comparison with 11 home wins.
Villa's biggest home and away losses for 2002-2003 season...
Biggest Away Loss 3-0 16/09/02 v Birmingham <--- :D
Biggest Home Loss 0-2 03/03/03 v Birmingham <--- :D
I love those last 2 stats.
COME ON BIRMINGHAM!!!
70 fouls in two games between Aston Villa and Birmingham.
78% of all Aston Villa’s points were earned at home – making them the team most reliant on their home form.
Don't know what Villa's defence would of been like with BOTH Alpay and Mellberg playing.
COME ON VILLA!!!
