But what Sega's real problem was is this. The DC was never going to make money. Simple. And that's the way it will always be. Rather than make something better than the DC, I say the opposite. Sega should have dumped millions, if not billions, on the DC marketting, advertising, and making software. They would have lost millions/billions, but this is not a problem. The idea is to get as many consoles out as possible, hinder Sony and the rest and make Sega a well respected name again.
Sega should have then gone on to make a new console in 3/4 years time in the next generation, but this time with the aim of simply gaining their losses back. By this time they would have a good market share, and would easily make back money. It was only after investing millions into the market that sega could possibly relaunch their brand. Anything else- even excellent titles on the DC- would go wasted without all the advertising and 3rd party support.

Why are you going to buy a PS if you already own a Dreamcast?

Why are you going to buy a Dreamcast mag if you dont already own the console?
The Dreamcast had alot of good games at launch House of the Dead 2 and Soul Caliber being the main ones. It was down to marketting.
They should have bundled these great games with the console too!

QT because it will always be one step ahead of PS.
hah ahahah ahahaha hahaha ahahahah aha ha
er-no!

Personally I think they should have bundled house of the Dead 2 and the lightgun and maybe even Soul Caliber with the console at no extra cost!
They would have sold lots of machines everywhere, and they could easily make there money back selling sequel games like House of the Dead 3!
(Brucie Bonus... no no no... Err... Price is right? That could... no, wouldn't be that funny... err... Cuddly toy? Nice to see you? Play your cards right?... I suppose that's what it meant...)
Its my bl*ody problem as well... time for me to shake my fist and curse I think...
