If I got a Joystick with a USB connection, would I have to unplug my Modem?
If so could I get some kind of adapter to solve this problem?

Thanks for the advice, its put me off USB. At least as far as my P133 is concerned.

You Should be able to hook that scanner up, but keep in mind, usb takes a lot of system resources and also requires a fair amount of cpu/psu power, i wouldnt recommend usb to anyone with a system less than 600mhz 256mb ram, and a 300 watt psu.
Seems to me you have windows 95 osr2 while this supports usb it isnt 100% fixed and is very buggy, think about upgrading to 98 se or 2000.

Im thinking of buying a PCI to USB card for by PC, unfortunately I only have Win95. Although it is a version that has USB support(well it says so on the disc).

Anyway if I brought the card would I be able to use a USB scanner with it.

i take it that you have a usb modem. you will need a usb hub to plug into your usb port. this way you can have your modem and joystick plugged in at the same time. you can have over 100 devices connected to one usb port (not sure why you would want to!!). hope this helps
