Hi,

I just want to know, if you lot think that Sony will capitalise on the headstart they've got in the games console market?

I mean they've got atleast until Christmas this year to really start getting customers before the GameCube,GBA and Xbox are realeased. If Sony were wise enough to use this time to build up their image in the market then they could be way way WAY out of sight in the popularity ratings.

But, will they use this time? We've already seen what awesome capabilities the Nintendo has and that was just on the N64, imagine what the GameCube could do if the developers were not in this battle for games market supremacy, and didn't feel the need to rush the programming and took time to make sure it is absolutley perfect.

The advantage that Sony have at the moment is clearly going to help them jump ahead. However Nintendo's customers are extremley loyal to the company and might very wel hold out till Christmas. But then again Nintendo are very well known to delay realeases of both games and consoles, and if this happens again then a lot of Nintendo are going to be mighty annoyed if the GBA and GameCube are subject to delays and might possibly jump ship to Sony.

And then you've got the Xbox. Microsofts first venture into the world of games consoles. Will Bill Gates supercompany be able to put togethera console that doesn't look like a small PC? Will it be destiny or disaster from the Microsoft team? One things for sure they won't be a patch onthe GBA,GameCube and PS2 in the popularity scale.

What do you think?

The X-Box is the worst idea in the whole, sad history of bad ideas... and I'll be there when Microsoft learn that.

Take in the factors... and figure out why. I know! :)
