Are they any good because I'm currently downloading the animatrix part 1, amd part 2 later.

Its ok. I got the SVCD a few days ago. Basically its 9 short stories that arent connected about The Matrix. All are done in cartoon apart from the first which is CGI.
The Wachowski brothers did write some of the scripts and Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss provide some voices in the stories with Neo and Trinity.
