If it's not a copy off NOM's article it's a copy of the history page on www.Nintendo.com

SR advertise in NOM, you can't go copying off mags, it's called cheating!

Leave him alone Snipe!, everyone copies material sometime and plus some poeple won't have read the magazine so it is good of him to write it, if he wins gameaday there is always tommorrow for anyone else to win.

The history of Nintendo is quite interesting then, if the NGC is a flop maybe they should reconsider making playing cards...lol.

I wonder if they will make a interactive playing card type thing for the GAMECUBE. I hope they do, it could be like an ultra slim VMU, with an LCD display that could be linked with the GBA as an advanced screen chip....would cost a BOMB though!

And i'm not joking, either if anybody's read it, he brought it up because of the mag special. It's all in there!

For some reason I have a really hard time caring what Nintnedo were up to before they started on Arcade games... and even then I only really have a passing interest...

Now a topic on the constructionist principles of the spinning jenny during the Industrial revolution... wow!

Multi funtion devices arnt all that popular for anything other than cheap resolvements...

TV's with built in DVD Player/VCR is always less popular since if one breaks the other is scuppered...

The PS2 & DVD player combo worked, since a DVD player is something people want, but many arnt yet intending to buy... but the offer of a new games console, which they want & the already desired DVD player makes the PS2 seem very desirable...

Also since they were using DVD drive anyway, they probably thought that they couldnt lose by making it play the Vids... :)

Great Post...VERY PROFESSIONAL!

I think that Nintendo will do really well in the console wars to come, I think they have the right idea of what people want, sony with all their (supposed on-line banking) etc etc don't understand, by that time people will be doing all these things through their TV, in years to come TV's will have built in DVD players and so the PS2's will not be used much for anything but the games!

I think the 'just a games console' idea from Nintendo will attract a new type of customer, I think they will feel sick and let down by Sony and only 1 company can pick them up....Nintendo

Nintendo's past sure has been a long and winding road...I think that most companies go through hell and high water to be a success.....even microsoft. But Nintendo have always semed to have that feel about their games, the colours and warmth that only Mario and the gang can give off...I think that Nintendo will do well, I hope they do anyway.
