You'd think film companies would learn from their mistakes, right? Well with the news that there are problems with Gladiator's second disc, it seems that this has not happened. Now, Gladiator is a fine film and I have already watched it twice since I bought it. The second disc is a great bonus, if you can get it working. I'm quite lucky that my machine doesn't have any problems, but I took the disc round to a mate's house and would it work? Nope.
This has now happened to me (through different friends) 3 times with different discs and it's all because the discs are formatted in a certain way.
It's like getting a TV and finding it doesn't work on all channels (okay, so channel 5 has problems, but you know what I mean) or getting a hoover that only picks up certain kinds of dirt. I know it's not the fault of the DVD machine manufacturers, but it is really annoying and embarrassing if you are trying to impress someone with your new equipment and suddenly everything goes pearshaped.

Many thanks!
You were 100% right - great support!
Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
