I got Toy Story Collectors edition (1 & 2 + 3rd DVD) delivered on saturday. But for some reason the third disc won't run on the PS2. The other two discs work fine. I was wondering if maybe it's a faulty disc.......
Any Ideas?

Gladiator is a known problem disc:

Your US version of Three Kings will never work on your PS2, as the PS2 is NOT a multi-region/region-free player, and will ONLY play Region 2 discs - US discs are Region 1. Assuming of course that you have an official UK PlayStation.

Not sure about Twister of Seven Years in Tibet, but if they're not Region 2 discs either, that will be your problem. Otherwise it could be a similar problem to Gladiator, Toy Story, and numerous other DVD discs which fail on many players, not just the PS2.

Hope this helps.

I think they were being rather crafty with that PS2 compatible thing, I imagine some people must have gone into a shop, looking to buy some DVDs to go with their PS2, seen the sticker on MI:2. That would have planted seeds of doubt over whether other DVDs would work on the PS2, so they'll choose the one that they know will work!

It's the only DVD that I've come across that doesn't work on my PS2 - all the others are fine, including the two toy Story films.

There was a similar problem like this on "watchdog" a few weeks ago. Some DVDs are not compatible with some DVD players. They had a problem where the 3rd disc in the Toy Stories collection didn't play on a number of DVD players and now it apperas that it doesn't work on the PS2 either. I have only seen one DVD with a sticker saying it was PS2 compatiable (mission impossible 2) but the other DVDs don't metion whether they can be played on them or not.

Didn't get to this one earlier, as I'm busy working (honest!).

I posted the same thing a couple of weeks back. It doesn't work on my PS2 either, and it *does* work fine on my PC DVD drive. So taking it back may, or may not help. Sorry to be the bearer of potentially bad news......

There are big problems with Toy Story on many, many DVD players - it's not just a PS2 issue.

Check here for details (remember to remove the spaces!)...

Could be - although it wouldn't surprise me if the disc just doesn't work with the PS2. It's not unheard of, so don't worry too much about it.

Try the disc out on a friends DVD player or PS2.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Second to none...
So far the services you provide are second to none. Keep up the good work.
