I've copied the files from Outlook Express onto a CD, to move all my E-mails onto XP Home, however I don't know where to place them.

Could anyone direct me to the correct location under Windows XP for the Outlook '.dbx' files??

Thank you.

They're hidden files.

C:\Documents and Settings\Chris ...

Thats as far as it goes, no 'Local Settings' or anything deeper.

Any other ideas?

You should have just exported them then imported them.

C:\Documents and Settings\[your user name]\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\[one of the weird folder names]\Microsoft\Outlook Express\

Tada.
