"Fergie: No help from Spurs."

Alex Ferguson has stated that Tottenham with give them a tough game on Sunday despite the fact that Man U will probably win by more than 3 goals (due to Tottenham's rivalry with Arsenal).


Do you think Fergie is trying to make it less obvious that his team will easily take 3 points or Do you think Spurs will give them a tough game?

Apparently, Veron and Butt picked up knocks mid-week.

I thought Keller was wearing a arsenal shirt or somthing underneath...

Spurs gave a it good go. At times I felt it might be one of those days after Keller's saves against Ruud, however Scholesy calmed the nerve's some what.

Great position now - roll on next weekend!

Bloody hell! Kasey Keller didn't read the script, did he? Typical of an American not to understand the importance of the rivalry between local teams.

Could have been 6-0 if it weren't for his saves. Had no chance with Scholesy's goal though, and Ruud finally managed to stick one past him.

Roll on Charlton, and potentially 8 points clear. (Having played 2 extra)

I'm Sure Spurs probably got the first Goal to make it less obvious that they were going to lose, but you are right. Most people will say it is United's form that will give them the victory, not the fact that Spurs would rather get relegated then to see us win the Premiership again.

If United come out like they did against Newcastle after the Madrid defeat, then I see no reason why we can't win today against Spurs. However, I don't think we should be counting our chickens, remember the last-time we needed to beat Spurs on the final day of the season? Yes, we won, but they gave us a scare.

The title is now in United's hands, if we can continue this impressive run that harks back to December, then there isn't a reason why we can take maximum points from our remaining games to regain the title.

Bolton have done United a favour by drawing 2-2 with Arsenal; I think that Spurs will be whipped by Beckham and co.

If tottenham get a beating tomorrow it'll be because of either the gulf of class between the 2 teams or the fact they have nothing to play for while United will be after the Premier league crown.
