It appear that the rumors were more a hopeful desire than anything factual...

since although Gamers.com were tld that Bill Gates is to announce the DC-compatible Xbox at the spring Tokyo Game Show.

Daily Radar USA asked a Microsoft spokesman who said...
"Sega games would look great on Xbox, but it's absolutely untrue that Xbox will contain Dreamcast hardware,"

Sega of America Vice President of Corporate and Marketing Communications Charles Bellfield also denied the rumor.
