Oh my God, is this what passes for children’s entertainment?

Good grief, I understand children’s programs must be cheep, nasty, bright, patronising pieces of rubbish using actors that are desperate for money, but holy mother of god what a load of pap!

I thought children’s TV has gotten pretty bad with things like Teletubies, Fimbles and other large fluffy freaks with poor pronunciation entertaining the little ones, but things have just gotten a hell of a lot worse. At 3:15pm on channel 3 I happened to catch an episode of "Boohbah." Now this is possibly the scariest thing I've ever seen. From what I can tell It comprises of 5 brightly coloured, round, turtle-like balls of hair with eyes that make strange creaking sounds, who have the ability to mesmerise children with their ability to dance...badly. Once their demented dance is done they fart, fly into the air and all this other mental, colourful dementia fills the screen.

I saw it at a friends house. They fly on screen, deflate then the whole thing is rewinded speeded up and repeated.

I guess its true what they say - Genius in simplicity.

It's televisual LSD for kids who can't even talk properly yet.

Watch it while hungover, it makes your brain do backflips.

It was funny, but in a way it wasn’t meant to be. I feel sorry for the people talked into “playing the role of a Boobah”, I just feel that children’s TV used to be so much better.

It is interesting though; talking to a few friends, just how many “older people” watch kids TV.

Haha! I watched that.. I think on.. Monday?

Was looking after some babies and they loved it even though they're only a few months old!

I didn't pay loads of attention to it but it felt like I was watching something like Donnie Darko!! Very weird. Just remember seeing blobs of purple and green or something jumping around!

Was funny!
