Last night on Channel 4 at 10:00pm there was a documentary on Robert Kleeson who had been on death row in America for shooting and the dismembering two morman missonaries in Texas.
He got off on a technicality and left America to come and live in my Town. In fact he was living just up the street from me for 10 years while I lived at home with my parents.
It was wierd seeing the little town where I lived the first 18 years of my life on TV, and people I knew talking about some maniac who lived among us.

Yeah - know there's lots about Gein (there was a dodgy biopic reciently, wasn't there?), but with the name of the show and all he was just the first who came to mind :)
Apparently, this man murdered his wife in the house behind my girlfriend's some years ago. Her parent's heard the wfie's screams. That's just screwed up.
Yeah but he lived the down the road from me, so obviously I was fairly interested.
And there have been loads of documentries on Ed Gein. He was the inspiration for Psyco and Silence of the Lambs, as well as for Texas Chain Saw Massacre.

I was a little dissappointed by it - there's a lot better subject matter out there than him. Like the real inspiration behind the film, Ed Gein, even the tenuious links from his killings to the film far outweigh yer mans.
