News came round not too long ago that someone I know well was killed in Iraq.
He's the second Scottish soldier to be killed in Iraq, and it's a great loss to many in the town. He was a great guy.
Lieutenant Alex Tweedie, a good friend of mine, was badly injured, and was flown back to Scotland. He later died.
I'm pretty damned upset at the moment, and our thoughts go out to his family. He honestly will be sadly missed.
