Seeing as everyone is posting their religous viewpoints recently I shall have my say.
You are all wrong. You cannot say one religion is right and one is wrong. Imagine you lived on island and had never heard of anything, what then, Choirboy?

All religions are the same when you tear away the superficial and 'low' layers. They promote compassion, empathy, benevolence, peace, etc.
But sadly human weakness pollutes these underlying principles and makes religion something less good.
And what's more, these high principles [like the idea of God] don't belong to religion, they belong to a greater purpose, something the human soul instinctively strives after but cannot properly reach.
