Well i havent bought my new comp yet thanks to my parents who hold have the credit cards and money..
So i was looking about and saw that the XP 2400+ has a 266mhz FSB while the XP 2600+ has a 333mhz FSB will it make a difference if the XP2400 rig would be bundled in with a R9700 etc and if the XP2600 rig would have a Geforce 4 Ti 4800SE etc?

A small chance i can upgrade to a 2600 and still have a R9700 apparently AMD chip prices have been slashed.

on a more serious note, the 333mhz FSB will only make a difference if you have the RAM to back it up. You really are much better getting a 2400 - which will be a Tbred B, AIUHB if it's anything like recent, so you could probably clock it up to 333mhz FSB anyway. Make sure you have PC2700 by the way. I mean, some PC2100 will do 333mhz (My Crucial for one) but I'm lucky. The multipliers are unlocked on those chips anyway.

Well, there's a Turbonutter sitting next to me with an answer for you:
BUY THE 9700 AND STOP ASKING! You can just drop the multiplier and up the FSB on the 266mhz chip anyway, and the 9700 is so much better than the 4800 it's just not funny.
