Is there anyway of getting my PS2 to play Region 1 (USA) DVDs?

first time we've been to calshot. very impressed with the whole set up and looking forward to racing there later in the year.

PAL PS2's are region 2 DVD. Until someone figured out a way of overcoming it - you can't play Region 1 DVD's on your PAL PS2

What riegon is your PS2? It says on the manual and the actual console, I think.

Until someone comes up with a chipped solution then nope. There's no known remote hack, so you'll have to hang tight :)

Come on its hardly a hard queston like "Is There Ever going To Be Deacent PS2 Games Relesed?" Or even "Is There Any Better Use For The PS2 Than Either A Drinks Holder Or Designer Coffee Table?" All I Want To Do Is Play Region 1 DVDS On My PS2. Lets Face Facts If The PS2 Is Powerfull Enough To Launch Misiles Surly It Can Play Region 1 DVDS?
