What do you think of this radical (for the premiership anyway) idea of deciding the title, do you think it'll even happen and more importantly, who would win (come on Arsenal!!)?
Send in your opinions.
Besides, the FA cup has no regard to the premiership. Wenger usually plays a weakened team in it, and Fergie pulled out of the damn thing only a few years back. Oh, and er, keane called it a load of b0ll0ck5 in his book :D
I think a better measure would be looking at results against the top 5/6.
Man Utd beat Liverpool home & away
Man Utd beat Newcastle home & away
Man Utd took 4 points off Arsenal
Man Utd took 4 points off Chelsea
Man Utd took 3 points off Everton (still one to play)
Now thats championship material.

Yeah, they might've been lucky goals, but they still have a better record against Man U this season.
If it was all done in points (including FA Cup), they'd be equal after three appearences, and Arsenal would have the upper hand due to a win at Old Trafford.
Lucky goals. All teams get them.
The only reason they've come up with this idea is to grab some extra cash at the end of the season, with Football facing a financial-crisis!
Why else would this idea have only emerged DAYS after a record-breaking number of people tuned-in to watch the Arsénal-'United game, world-wide, on Wednesday!?!?
Then again, if it was all-square at the top - like this - then I'd rather have some 'final' decide it all, rather than giving it all to Arsénal just because they're name begins with an 'A', and you only start Manchester with an 'M'.
But I bet the Title Race for the season will be over long-before we even need to consider something like this! ;D
Man Utd 5/6
Arsenal 5/6
Too tight even for the bookies to call. Although they did have united as favs after the game at highbury.

Tell the truth!!!

No, you were trying to be clever by showing how the Premiership standings will be decided if they're both on the same points, and past meetings will be irrelevant.
Oh, and well done on resorting to "your mum".
Arsenal : 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000/1
