Welcome back to SRW No Holds Barred and we are all set up for Cong Man versus RawisAndy (Starlight). The Cong Man has been very unhappy in SRW of late but has won a lot of matches. He blames his lack of push firmly on Reaver’s shoulders and was thrown kicking and screaming out of the ring when he confronted Reaver. RawisAndy has struggled since being eliminated in the epic Hell In A Cell match and has ditched his tag partner, Ice Blaster, and decided that being a thorn in the side of Cong Man is the best way to achieve his ultimate goal, to become the CAW Heavyweight Champion.
Cong Man is seen in his locker room throwing stuff about. He is looking very frustrated. Scotty (Figo) enters the room and tries to calm him down.
“Reaver is going to see the whole force of my power. There is no way he is going to suppress me! I’m going to destroy that pathetic RawisAndy and then tear Reaver apart limb by limb!”
Cong Man tears a cushion apart.
“You have to channel this rage, Cong Man. That’s what you always told me. Focus on winning against RIA and it will only be a matter of time until you get Reaver and the title back.”
“You’re right Scotty. Hawk (Afrojoe) has shown himself a worthy champion but I know you are the better Animal!”
The door shuts suddenly and Cong Man and Scotty wonder who has been spying on them.
RawisAndy (Starlight) has recently got rid of the cocky persona and become more focused. We sent Josh Matthews (DW) to interview him.
“RawisAndy! Excuse me for a second. How about an interview?”
“Sure, I’ve got nothing better to do.”
“This will surely be the biggest match of your career to date. The Cong Man is one of the top wrestlers in the world today and you will have to beat him at some point to get that CAW Championship, which is so sought after. Can you beat The Cong Man?”
“Of course I can beat him! What kind of wrestler do you take me for? I will prove to everyone how serious I am. I will win the CAW Championship!”
RawisAndy tries to leave but Josh pulls him back.
“Just one more question please.”
RawisAndy leaves in a hurry. The camera spots a medical team rushing someone away. The camera is trying to find out who it is. It’s Ice Blaster! Ice Blaster has been attacked! Who could have done this? RawisAndy seems concerned by this attack on his former friend.
“Believe me Ice Blaster, I’ll get the person who did this!”
RawisAndy departs to his match as Ice Blaster is loaded into the ambulance.
We are now ready for this one on one encounter.
‘CKY’ plays and out walks RawisAndy (Starlight) purposefully. He seems really focused and disturbed by the attack on Ice Blaster, his former friend.
‘It Began in Afrika’ plays and out walks Cong Man to a huge ovation. If it were up to the crowd, he’d be the champ right here, right now.
RawisAndy wastes no time in beating down Cong Man and this match is underway. RIA is stomping away on Cong Man in the corner… until Cong Man grabs his leg and knocks RIA down by sweeping the other leg away. Cong Man keeps hold of the leg, grabs the other and flips over into a bridging pin! 1…
KICK OUT! Pretty early for that but it forced RIA (Starlight) to think carefully about what game he has brought with him. RIA quickly gets to his feet and knocks Cong Man down onto the mat. RIA stands over Cong Man and starts punching him repeatedly in the face. The ref comes in and forces RIA back. Cong Man rolls out of the ring, baseball slide! RIA is not giving Cong Man a second to think! RIA stands up, flips over the ropes and hits Cong Man with a flying crossbody!
RIA is quickly on his feet, WHAM! He literally rammed Cong Man’s head into the steel steps! OOOH! And again! AND AGAIN! RIA jumps onto the security barrier, FLIPPING LEG DROP! That was a huge move! The crowd had to applaud that one! That was spectacular! RIA grabs Cong Man’s legs and catapults him into the ring post! Cong Man has no recovery time! RIA is running riot!
RIA (Starlight) is seeing red! He must be! He is stripping the announcer’s table! The ref is remonstrating but RIA just shrugs him aside! RIA rolls Cong Man onto the table, RIA climbs the turnbuckle! He is crazy! RIA looks at Cong Man and leaps…
SWANTON BOMB THROUGH A TABLE! HE GOT ALL OF THAT! Cong Man looks a crumpled mess already and this match has seen no Cong Man attacks! RIA is looking pretty pleased with himself and throws Cong Man back into the ring. He grabs Cong Man and gives him the JIMJAMJAHA!!! THIS COULD BE OVER!! 1… 2…
KICK OUT! CONG MAN KICKED OUT! CONG MAN JUST STOOD UP! It’s like he is hulking up or something! RIA (Starlight) cannot believe it! He had this match won! Cong Man is totally unloading on a shocked RIA! Huge DDT by Cong Man! The Banana Split! RIA grabs the lower regions in pain! Cong Man throws RIA into the corner and hits a load of rib shots. Cong Man whips RIA into the opposite turnbuckle with amazing velocity! Cong Man grabs RIA, shoulder into the ring post! Cong rolls RIA up! 1… 2…
KICK OUT! Solid kick out by RIA! RIA has seen all his attacks seem ineffective and he is looking dazed and confused. Cong Man from behind… HUGE BRAINBUSTER! HE STALLED IT IN MID AIR AND IT HAD LOADS OF IMPACT! Cong Man locks in THE BANANA PEEL! RIA is in trouble! The crowd are sensing the end! RIA is creeping near the ropes…
HE GRABS THEM! Cong Man releases the hold instantly and throws RIA (Starlight) to the outside. WHAT THE HELL? IT’S REAVER! Reaver (Ant) is walking down to ringside. The ref is pushing Cong Man away as Reaver steps onto the apron. The ref focuses on Reaver and is telling him to get to the back!
WHAM! RIA WITH A SNEAK CHAIR ATTACK! He throws the chair out of the ring and pins Cong Man confidently! 1… 2…
KICK OUT! RIA and Reaver just cannot believe it! RIA is standing up! He is willing Cong Man to his feet! Cong Man has been busted open by that chair shot! Cong Man is staggering to his feet! THE JIMJAMJAHA!!
REVERSAL! Cong Man pushes RIA (Starlight) off the ropes, Cong Man ducks, RIA lands on his feet, spins Cong Man round, JIMJAMJAHA! He hit it again! Reaver (Ant) is jumping around! RIA GOES FOR THE COVER! 1… 2…

While we were watching Reaver (Ant) and Scotty (Figo), RIA (Starlight) took the advantage and climbed the turnbuckle but got distracted by Reaver and Scotty. THE CONG MAN APPEARS OUT OF NOWHERE AND HITS THE BRAZZAVILLE BOMB OUT OF NOTHING!!! HE ADDED EXTRA ELEVATION AND RIA FOLDED UP LIKE AN ACCORDIAN! THE CONG MAN GOES FOR THE COVER!!! 1… 2…
3!!! CONG MAN WINS! Cong Man has proven his worth and celebrates in the ring. He is about to leave when RIA gets up and stops him exiting the ring. He orders a microphone and wants to talk to Cong Man.
“Congy, I gave it everything but you beat me fair and square. I want to learn. Teach me, Cong Man. I want to be as great as you.”
The Cong Man just stares at RIA (Starlight).
“Okay, you don’t believe me. You don’t believe I’ve changed. Well, watch this footage.”
RIA concern for his former tag team partner, Ice Blaster, is shown.
“What do you say now? I’ve changed. I want to shake your hand Cong.”
RIA extends his hand and the crowd are pleading with Cong Man not to trust him. Cong Man shakes RIA’s hand! The crowd are applauding this change from RIA!
“Thank you for trusting me. I knew I had to do something to gain your trust so I attacked Ice Blaster myself!!! FFFZZZZTTTT!!”
JIMJAMJAHA!!! He’s left Cong Man lying! The crowd boo in disapproval as RIA (Starlight) celebrates!!! IT’S HAWK!! HAWK IS COMING DOWN TO RINGSIDE!!! Hawk (Afrojoe) goes past RIA and checks on a fallen Cong Man. Hawk helps Cong Man to his feet… HAWK SCREWDRIVER!!! HAWK HAS JUST DESTROYED HIS FRIEND AND TAG PARTNER!
“Cong Man, if you didn’t know it by now, I’m out! That’s right! It’s the death of Da Animalz! No more! I’m sick of you, of Scotty, of this whole thing! I hope you’re happy with the ‘better’ Animal!”
Hawk and RIA stomp on a destroyed Cong Man and then walk up the ramp as the crowd boo them.

Finally got round to giving reading this the time it deserved. Tasty...some good potential headlining feuds brewing as a result of this.
Top match. There were lots of high impact moves leading to kick out after kick out. I thought it was over loads of times! Wrong again! Despite all that was against him, Cong Man managed to pull off the victory. A surprising ending after that too..

Now that was one heck of a great match Grandprix. I liked the emphasis of huge moves and the appearance of Hawk, Scotty, Reaver and all. Super.

I figured this match had the potential to start a huge chain of potential storylines. As far as I'm aware, Hawk was never officially split from Da Animalz so I felt the time had come.

Wow...controversial. An entertaining, action-packed and fast-paced thriller of a match has ended with...well, it looks like Reaver (Ant), RIA (Starlight) and Hawk (AfroJoe) all have something against Cong Man, Scotty Dogg (Figo) and Ice Blaster.

While we were watching Reaver (Ant) and Scotty (Figo), RIA (Starlight) took the advantage and climbed the turnbuckle but got distracted by Reaver and Scotty. THE CONG MAN APPEARS OUT OF NOWHERE AND HITS THE BRAZZAVILLE BOMB OUT OF NOTHING!!! HE ADDED EXTRA ELEVATION AND RIA FOLDED UP LIKE AN ACCORDIAN! THE CONG MAN GOES FOR THE COVER!!! 1… 2…
3!!! CONG MAN WINS! Cong Man has proven his worth and celebrates in the ring. He is about to leave when RIA gets up and stops him exiting the ring. He orders a microphone and wants to talk to Cong Man.
“Congy, I gave it everything but you beat me fair and square. I want to learn. Teach me, Cong Man. I want to be as great as you.”
The Cong Man just stares at RIA (Starlight).
“Okay, you don’t believe me. You don’t believe I’ve changed. Well, watch this footage.”
RIA concern for his former tag team partner, Ice Blaster, is shown.
“What do you say now? I’ve changed. I want to shake your hand Cong.”
RIA extends his hand and the crowd are pleading with Cong Man not to trust him. Cong Man shakes RIA’s hand! The crowd are applauding this change from RIA!
“Thank you for trusting me. I knew I had to do something to gain your trust so I attacked Ice Blaster myself!!! FFFZZZZTTTT!!”
JIMJAMJAHA!!! He’s left Cong Man lying! The crowd boo in disapproval as RIA (Starlight) celebrates!!! IT’S HAWK!! HAWK IS COMING DOWN TO RINGSIDE!!! Hawk (Afrojoe) goes past RIA and checks on a fallen Cong Man. Hawk helps Cong Man to his feet… HAWK SCREWDRIVER!!! HAWK HAS JUST DESTROYED HIS FRIEND AND TAG PARTNER!

Hawk and RIA stomp on a destroyed Cong Man and then walk up the ramp as the crowd boo them.

Cong Man is seen in his locker room throwing stuff about. He is looking very frustrated. Scotty (Figo) enters the room and tries to calm him down.
“Reaver is going to see the whole force of my power. There is no way he is going to suppress me! I’m going to destroy that pathetic RawisAndy and then tear Reaver apart limb by limb!”
Cong Man tears a cushion apart.
“You have to channel this rage, Cong Man. That’s what you always told me. Focus on winning against RIA and it will only be a matter of time until you get Reaver and the title back.”
“You’re right Scotty. Hawk (Afrojoe) has shown himself a worthy champion but I know you are the better Animal!”
The door shuts suddenly and Cong Man and Scotty wonder who has been spying on them.
RawisAndy (Starlight) has recently got rid of the cocky persona and become more focused. We sent Josh Matthews (DW) to interview him.
“RawisAndy! Excuse me for a second. How about an interview?”
“Sure, I’ve got nothing better to do.”
“This will surely be the biggest match of your career to date. The Cong Man is one of the top wrestlers in the world today and you will have to beat him at some point to get that CAW Championship, which is so sought after. Can you beat The Cong Man?”
“Of course I can beat him! What kind of wrestler do you take me for? I will prove to everyone how serious I am. I will win the CAW Championship!”
RawisAndy tries to leave but Josh pulls him back.
“Just one more question please.”
RawisAndy leaves in a hurry. The camera spots a medical team rushing someone away. The camera is trying to find out who it is. It’s Ice Blaster! Ice Blaster has been attacked! Who could have done this? RawisAndy seems concerned by this attack on his former friend.
“Believe me Ice Blaster, I’ll get the person who did this!”
RawisAndy departs to his match as Ice Blaster is loaded into the ambulance.
We are now ready for this one on one encounter.
‘CKY’ plays and out walks RawisAndy (Starlight) purposefully. He seems really focused and disturbed by the attack on Ice Blaster, his former friend.
‘It Began in Afrika’ plays and out walks Cong Man to a huge ovation. If it were up to the crowd, he’d be the champ right here, right now.
RawisAndy wastes no time in beating down Cong Man and this match is underway. RIA is stomping away on Cong Man in the corner… until Cong Man grabs his leg and knocks RIA down by sweeping the other leg away. Cong Man keeps hold of the leg, grabs the other and flips over into a bridging pin! 1…
KICK OUT! Pretty early for that but it forced RIA (Starlight) to think carefully about what game he has brought with him. RIA quickly gets to his feet and knocks Cong Man down onto the mat. RIA stands over Cong Man and starts punching him repeatedly in the face. The ref comes in and forces RIA back. Cong Man rolls out of the ring, baseball slide! RIA is not giving Cong Man a second to think! RIA stands up, flips over the ropes and hits Cong Man with a flying crossbody!
RIA is quickly on his feet, WHAM! He literally rammed Cong Man’s head into the steel steps! OOOH! And again! AND AGAIN! RIA jumps onto the security barrier, FLIPPING LEG DROP! That was a huge move!
