Ignore these lemons..

1. Click on 'Start', and then 'Run'.

2. Type 'regedit' into the text box (minus the ''s)

3. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Microsoft -> Internet Explorer, and click on the 'Main' folder.

4. In the right-hand pane you should have a list of registry settings. One of them is Default_Page_URL. Replace whatever it says in there with http://www.i-will-not-download-porn-dialers-any-more.com*

et voila!

*more suitable replacements may be considered.

Tools - Internet Options

At the top in address field - delete what you have in there and input what you want in there.

Once if you've done that click apply at the bottom and then click 'ok'

Close the browser and re-open it and it should be fine.

You could edit the setting in your registry, I can't think of another way of changing it in the options.

Search the registry for the web page that has hijacked your "Use Default", and select values/data in the search criteria.

Make sure you continue searching the registry until it can no longer find entires with the unwanted URL.

There are likely to be several entries for this setting in the registry.

You may have to reboot to see the change, although closing all IE windows and reopening may work.

Have fun....

Tools --> Internet Options --> Use Default

Where it says Homepage, you've got a choice of Use Current, Use Default or Use Blank. Choose Use Default.

I think that's what you're on about..
