Multiplayer looks like good fun, even if there are snipers etc. All the reviews I've seen have been pretty good (7+ out of 10) and although it's obviously dumbed down compared to the earlier titles in the series it's that sort of thing that makes a multiplayer mode good fun.
The single player was a basic FPS with absolutely awful AI for your team-mates and opponents - you'd tell them to flashbang a room before entry and instead they all stood in the doorway shooting the floor whilst the 2 targets inside crouched facing a corner.
And the multiplayer is redundant.
If you like close-combat shooty, CS does it much better.
And if you prefer open area conflict, Battlefield 2 rules it (even though it's not my sort of game, I can't deny it does what it's supposed to very well)
