Went over to Play.com and when I went to order the Transformers season 2 set on DVD it said that I might have to pay somesort of import tax or something. I know it is region 1 but does anybody know how much I will be looking to pay on top of the price it showed me (£26.99)? I did look at heir help section but I got nothing.

This post is just about in the right place( Movies,TV,....). If no one knows here I might try in Future ....(chat).

Thanks Dr Gonzo. Now that I got an idea I might be able to make a decision. £10 on top might sound a bit much but if it ever gets released over here, I doubt it will, then I'd expect the same price. I'll wait until Thursday and go from there.

I've had this from Play a couple of times before and I've only ever had to pay it once. I'd think you'd be talking around a £10 - it's whatever the rate of duty is, do a Google search and I'm sure you'd be able to find it out yourself pretty quickly. Post Office may add a small handling fee though, can't remember if they do.

When I got my Cube from the US I bought four games at once. The super clever company packaged these in three different parcels, sending them all at the same time with UPS. This resulted in not only the small duty fee on everything, but THREE £15 handling charges for working out the duty fee on each package.

Just sent them an E-mail. I didn't see the contact us bit at the top of the page first time. My bad. I'll see what they say. Just thought that somebody on here might of had some expirence with them. I thought I remembered seeing somebody post something about them. There well.

But to be fair, SR don't sell DVD's anymore...Still would be better to ask them personaly or the post service itself.

Tell you what, why don't you ask someone on Play's website, rather than ours?
