Waiting for a couple of parcels. They're well overdue. Figure they aren't arriving.
One's from Gibsoft, my first order from them and they've declined to reply to any of my e-mails checking if they'd sent it / telling them nothing had arrived, hence I didn't belive they'd even sent it. Until it happened again.
The other's from a reputable company.

It's not like these are isolated incidents either. It happened around christmas time with an order from sr too, plus I've lost count of how many letters I've received with obvious tears, especially along the seal/flap bit.

Where does the blame lie? Not sure. It's my uni address, so the parcels go to the porters, who then hold them until people go sign for them. Maybe one of them get's greedy sometimes?
Or maybe it's some tart in the postal system who enjoys one too many of the perks of the job.
The fact that most of the porters (though I can't speak for all of them) seem very trustworthy, and because the letters (sometimes of qestionable unopenedness) are delivered directly to the flats, suggests to me that it's the post office who are screwing me over with the parcels.
(Where does Wookie work? ;^) )

The question is this:

What the hell can I do about it?

Pfff, you are only halfway through the estimated waiting time?

Went to the post office depot in town today, they didn't have anything 'in the back'.
I have some customer service number, but I'm not optimistic.

Guess I can give up on my stuff now :^S

The big worry is that I'm now 5 weeks into the '2 to 8 weeks' wait for my PS2 to arrive, and while I sit here twiddling my thumbs my postman could be playing GTA as we speak. Or my porter...

Barstubs.

The multi-million pound business is going well enough, but what can I do about my parcels and playstation?
Help me!

start your own mul-tai-billion-i company. I think there is a void in the markert right now what with Royal Mail owning 100% of the market. I'll use your service/work for you for free. no slave labour mind.

The postal service is never perfect. They play football with your parcels and throw letters like frisbees.
