I thought it was worth mentioning that since my ADSL connection has switched from the old 'Centrals' to the new IPSC set up I can't get the official BT Speedtester to work.

At the best of times speedtester.bt.com can be rather flakey, but it seems to be completely broken if your line has been switched to the new IPSC world. This was introduced on the 14th and as users re-connect they will be moved to it.

The error reported is:
"The system is currently busy. Please try again shortly, however if this problem persists, raise the issue with your service provider."

So if anyone is attempting to troubleshoot a broadband connection and is being asked for the BT speedtester results they may be having problems!
