Dreamcast:
The Dreamcast is a very creative and intelligent console, and has, over the past year produced some quite excellent pieces of work.
In social skills, however, the Dreamcast is suffering. He's not very popular, though this is through no fault of his own.
Unfortunatley his slightly older brother, Saturn, who has since left the school, has cast a shadow of mis-trust over the family. It has even tarnished the good reputation created by the older siblings Megadrive, and Master System, both of which were very talented pupils.
There are fears that Dreamcasts parents may withdraw him from the school, but I hope that this doesn't happen, as he is quite clearly talented.
Playstation:
He's been around here quite some time, and is a rather popular fellow.
He doesn't really have the talent or knowledge of some of the other pupils, such as Dreamcast and N64, but he more than makes up for this with his high level of output.
Some of the big names have helped support him, and he is in a strong postion to finish with a flurry.
Playstation 2:
The new boy. When a new console joins the school it can be very tough for them. Expectations are high, and poor quality pupils are soon rejected.
However PS2 was a little different, as his older brother was already here, and they seem to work well together.
It is quite clear that PS2 has a lot of potential, but he is yet to use it. His work so far has looked very impressive, and would be considered as very good for one of the lesser pupils, but more is expected from one of the next-generation pupils.
Maybe once he gets settled in, and developers become more comfortable with his style, he'll be able to reach his true potential.
He was late on his first day, and is also beginning to miss deadlines on highly anticipated pieces of work. I'll reserve judgement on this until the work is handed in though.
N64:
From a proud family, with a strong background, N64 was always going to produce good results, and what work I have seen has been excellent.
However the problem seems to be that he doesn't like to submit work regularly. He seems to believe that he can get away with handing in amazing pieces of work just a few times per term.
This isn't good enough! Playstation has a remarkable work rate, and although not always of such a high quality, N64 should really learn lessons from this.
Another problem with N64 is that he can often hand work in late. This can be rather disappointing, but again, he has to be forgiven as the quality always shines through!
The future:
Next year we also have some further additions to our school.
N64's lil' brother Gamecube should be with us before too long, and impressive words are coming from pre-school.
X-Box will be with us a little later than originally planned, but his parents have lots of nice things to say about him.
Indrema is also supposed to be starting with us at some point, but I'm not to sure about him yet....
> LOL!! Pretty good.
Cheers!
Also, all of it's very true.
