Sony with their PS2 are currently the only runners, and will be until the end of 2001 at least...
Will Sony use this time to ensure complete dominance?
Will they get complacent and waste this time, allowing the GC and X-Box a bumper release?
What will happen between now and the GC/X-Box release?
Also, tcook, you think you're perfectly unbiased do you??
LOL!!
Shut up.
They are equally comparable, but now PS2 is in a 1 man race at the moment, the N64 just hangs behind and stays on just like the SNES, it plays games good.
> Yep, Sony must be laughing. Sega haven't ever produced any decent games for their console.
Another Sony zealot. You obviously have your head stuck so far up your own a s s that you cant give ANYTHING else the recognition it deserve's.
I'd say Sega have a game to rival (if not beat) the trash so far released on the PS2.

1) I dont think that the PS2 has anywhere near the amount of games released for it as the DC. Oh sorry only if you include the usual PS1 rubbish.
2) How can Sony support another console when they dont develope any games???? Maybe finacially yes, but why would they do that?
>Plus all the important games people swear that the PS2 is >the best console ever and cite the amazing amount of >polygons as proof that the machine can beat any other, >especially the ones that haven't entered mass-production >yet.
So the PS2 can process more polygons that the X-box or Gamecube?
I think your head is dissapearing furthur.
You just listen to the Sony "spin" and form your opinion on their statements.
Plus all the important games people swear that the PS2 is the best console ever and cite the amazing amount of polygons as proof that the machine can beat any other, especially the ones that haven't entered mass-production yet.
So the PS2 must be in a one-horse race according to all the facts.
If Sony know their marketplace, and we cannot really doubt it, then expect to see some triple A class games hit these shores at the end of March for the PS2, expect to see clamouring queues of people trying to get their hands on them, and expect to see Microsoft and Nintendo shouting at their manufacturers trying to get them to shift up a couple of gears before Sony become the major name in gaming and pull the rug out from under everyone else's feet. (And the lion's share of the gaming industry's profits.)
