Of course this doesn't mean that game publishers themselves won't put locks on their games, I mean it won't make much difference wether you buy it from here or there they still make a sale! But at least Microsoft is allowing that decision to be made by the people who make the games. A Favour ...from Bill Gates?...
If game manufacturers such as Square and Komani etc. vote not to install any other foreign-country locks, users will be able to play European, Japanese and U.S. games on the same console without having to make any tricky modifications or inserting any fiddley chips! Good news for anyone interested in importing an Xbox before the official UK release date!...Now there's a thought!
