That is the % of people who think that united will over come the deficit against Real Madrid. I'm not saying it definitely won't happen, but to expect it is unREAListic to say the least.

I doubt Veron will play unless injuries dictate otherwise, thats basically the only way he can get a kick and he knows it.

He played in European games when Keane was out for a few months, if Keane was fit Veron would not have started, surely thats not even debatable.

Veron's European form has been excellent. He's played in virtually every Champions League match this season.

If he's sixth in the pecking order, he's been lucky to do that then, hasn't he?

Realistically, I think you'll find that Veron is the first name fergie sticks down in the midfield for the Real Madrid game. I can easily see him getting in before Butt at the very least.

Again, he'll be at the heart of a five man midfield...

Ok lets just say that Scholes wasnt suspended then who do you think would play in the midfield?

I am pretty sure that Veron wouldnt be in the equation, if he was then whose place would he take?

Veron 'might' only play solely cos Scholes is suspended, if he wasnt then Veron wouldnt be playing... the midfield would be any of these 4 (5 had Scholes been eligable)

Scholes (suspended)
Beckham

Veron is running 6th in the pecking order and plays when ppl are injured or suspended... he covered when Keane was out for a while... thats the only way he makes the starting 11 these days and he knows it.

Man Utd should stick Solksjaer up with RVN and just play 4 in midfield... theres no place for Veron from what i can see.

Veron has played near enough every europeon game even when everybody is available.

off the topic. I am predicting sheff utd to at least take the game t extra time but probably win the match. They will then lose the final to the saints

Well thats incorrect, because Scholes plays just behind Van Nistlerooy as he has been doing for most of this season and. Seba Veron would replace Nicky Butt in the centre of Midfield.
