That was actually on the news bar at the bottom of the Sky News channel. What.The.Hell.

What kind of nonsense is that to publish on a news channel? It's ridiculous. I know he's not everybodys favourite and stuff but the slating he gets. He's one of those old-skool, slight of hind politicians, a national gem. Ok maybe that also means he's outdated and dosen't get things done.

Also, I'd love to see how David Cameron and his big-mouthed party would have done in this situation instead of using it as a poltical weapon. Will the Right Honourable gentleman shut his trap.

Everything is fabricated sensationalistic balls.

Also on Sky Sports News, some detailed anaylsis of the car that Ronaldo crashed. goes to 0-60mph in....0-100mph in....retail price blah blah WE GET THE POINT

The Mirror is guilty too. It's not as sleazy as the Sun or Star but the amount of sewage it omits. Also the way it prioritize it's stories. Gazza's family, then Amy Winehouse's new tattoo with like a murmur about the Gaza conflict in between the lifestlye and horoscopes.

I read the Mirror and watch the Sky news channels religiously as do the vast majority. Hang our heads in shame!

If history has taught us anything, printing more money when you have nothing doesn't make you richer. It makes you poor as the economy freefalls into hyperinflation. Germany after the first world war and zimbabwe are 2 good examples.

Are we seeing labour attempting to bring about some sort of socialist paradise?

Thank you for your comments it calmed the heat of my rant somewhat.

I am convinced though that the PM is just there to face the moaning of the nation. I don't think we'll ever aknowledge the good our leaders do. And don't give me that scornful "good question cynical blah de blah". Name me the last PM who was successful and I don't mean a Wartime one either. It's the voters who are just at fault. Emergencies and crisis can't be blamed for deviating from election promises.

Whoa there, it's been less than a year since he became PM.
You've gotta love him though, he's gets absoltely skinned and rings run around by the youthful witty Cameron in parliament. Can't stand him though.

Gordon Brown, a national gem? The guy's a disaster - terrible chancellor, dressing everything up behind the massive levels of borrowing he encouraged, and now he's in the top job when it all blows up in his face.

Ridiculous, ridiculous man, who should only go down in history as a pathetic failure.

I think the issue is with your news sources as much as anything else. The tabloids are not there to print news fact; they're entertainment dressed up as news.

Sky News is part of a large company which has it's own agendas and political affiliations, very few parts of the media are actually impartial these days. In fact the BBC and ITV are pretty much impartial but slip up occasionally and (not being biased) Thomson Reuters news prides itself on impartiality, which is where a lot of the source material comes from for the media.

News is about the story...it's about telling people what they want to hear, not what they should hear.

Unless its done for non-profit reasons it will always be ran as a business.
