Liverpool = 18 league titles. Over 20 years ( late 60s to the 70s mainly, and also the 80s)

Nottingham Forrest have won the European Cup the same amount as bloomin Man Utd! Sick of them, I really am.

Don't forget about Villa (providing we don't sell). We have a successfull youth squad how are currently top of the league and won the FA Youth cup last season. The likes of the Moore brothers will prove more successful than Vassell.

All we need to do is get rid of Graham Taylor, who isn't keen on playing the youngsters.

After that I see Newcastle or chelsea Taking a brief spell at the top:

Newcastle:

Woodgate, Viana, Dyer, Jenas, Lua lua, Ambrose, Bellamy

Chelsea:

Terry, Gallas, Lampard, Cole, Fosell, Gudjohnsen, oliveira

and others....

These look to me to be the two teams with the backbones to become champions in a few years time.

Yea Manchester United are dominating football i England. However someone else will soon dominate the league for a while. Quite possibly Everton with the Rooney brothers and maybe Arsenal. Of course i hope that it would be Liverpool but dreams are dreams and it doesn't look like we can dominate football. However, if you have been watching Man U then you will realise that they have already started their demise. A few seasons back they were unbeatable but now they lost some but still keep their dominance.

yeah but Man utd are far more succesfull now. More to the point its nice to have a background but if you are under 20 years old, all that previous means nothing really. Which you rather have 10 million in the bank now, or be able to say "5 years ago i had 20 million in the bank, but now i only have 500k" Man Utd have maintained there dominance and will probably one day soon be replaced at the top, but at the moment they are the top team.

I am looking at tropeys though. If you look at it Liverpool have one top flight English football 18 times and Man U only about 12! As for Everton . . . pfft ;-p

I'd say Man Utd really.

Although Liverpool have had one long spell of huge dominance Man utd have replicated this in the 1990's and have had continued success through the second half of the century, and have become the biggest club in the world.

Hang on a minute, who is still the undisputed most succesful club in English football history?
