Again, I'd like to point out that you stated the obvious; this being, that Riley did NOT score the goals.

In order to win a match, you have to score-goals. And that is something we did, but you didn't. Therefore, we won! :P

is that correct, well the rules have change since my day
In order to win a match, you have to score-goals. And that is something we did, but you didn't. Therefore, we won! :P

Man Utd didn't score your goals... RILEY DID! :P
:D
Man Utd vs Liverpool = 2
??? vs Leeds = 3
Everton vs Newcaslte = 1
there were another 1 or 2 as well in the saturday games
He was the last man (before the 'keeper), and he stopped van Nistelrooy from what could've quite easily been a slot-in for a player of his calibure. But there was also the chance that the ever in-consistant Jerzy Dudek would've blocked the shot, had van Nistelrooy been able to get one away.
I still think it was the right descision, and the law seems to say so, anyway. But... I'm still not sure...
And did you see just how well we played, throughout most of that match??
How can you say we did NOT deserve to win it?!?!?
Sure, 2 goals were Penalties... But the other 2 weren't!
And how many did Liverpool score??
Exactly!
In order to win a match, you have to score-goals. And that is something we did, but you didn't. Therefore, we won! :P

There's a difference between 'going all out attack' and 'hiding 10 men behind the ball' - surely Liverpool should have at least *tried* to give us a game.

No, he shouldn't have...
Firstly Biscan was facing Scholes and not dragging him down whist he was running through on goal.
There was also someone (I think Carragher) running diagonally to intercept the ball behind Biscan from the right back position, therefore it doesn't make Biscan the 'last defender' and certainly not a sending off.
Hyppia's was a 'professional foul' as the FA call it - meaning 'causing a foul with intent' whereby Biscan went for the ball but as Scholes took it past him he missed the ball and kick Scholes in the shins instead.
If you Scouser's knew the rules then you would know that.
:)
> Yes, we were playing Man Utd you silly fool :P
Really? I thought it was Yeovil Town we were playing :P
