In just over a month I have my GCSE’s, some of the most important exams of my life, and it has come too fast. It doesn’t seem a week ago since I was a little kid without a care in the world, GCSE’s seemed so far away and I never really even though about them until now. In my lessons all the teachers have been saying that we only have about 10 lessons of that subject left ever, which is quite a cool thing admittedly but I am growing up so fast it is scary.

The last two years have literally shot by, I have just two more years then I am moving out into the big wide world to fend for myself. Caught in the moment of ‘things go too fast’ I put it onto a larger scale, and life goes too fast. There is no way I can get everything I want to do done in the time I have left. I want to do a university course and become a famous writer doing both movies and comedy sitcoms, I would also like to write lyrics, buy a castle and marry a beautiful woman and have kids. Looking at the time space I have, it is going to be tough to get everything done and have time to enjoy it.

The average person lives about 75 years, the first 20 are spent being trained for life and the last 10 are spend in a nursing home sat in your own urine. This gives the average person just 45 years to live fully, e.g. get a job, get married have a family etc. This is crap! A year is just 365 and a bit days, it passes by at the blink of an eye, nobody has enough time in this world to experience everything or to live fully.

I don’t think there is anything I can do with my minimal knowledge of the fabric of the universe, but I would love to be able to live longer than average. Granted I could be hit by a bus tomorrow but accidents happed. If there is some way to live longer, I want to know about it.

I am an atheist and don’t believe in heaven or reincarnation, which is a shame really because I would like another chance. However it is against my morals to ‘have faith’ just because it might get me another innings. I believe this life is it, no second chances, no after life, no nothing. Everything you do will stay with you forever, then you rot into the ground and are forgotten. You have to make the most of your time alive, make every moment special and make each little thing count.

Life is sacred and special. Don’t waste the little time you have in front on the telly or wallowing in self-pity. Go out there into the big wide world and do something you have always dreamed of, make a difference to your life and touch other peoples too. You might not think you are anything special but you are, you are yourself. If you don’t make the most of your life, nobody else will because they are too busy making the most of theirs.

I hope this can change the way you think about life, even if just for a short while. Life is a gift we have all been given, make the most of it.

My first one is 21st May...argh!

Yesterday I had a day off from revising anyway because I was really tired and none of it would have gone in!
Dont know if I can revise today either actually, town and cinema today hmm. I will have to make a few hours free this evening for a maths paper!

Ah well, they're just exams after all

You know you could have been revising instead of writing that post KY and your chances of having a good job to experience all this stuff in life would go up...then again I could be revising for my GCSEs right now...ohhh...I forgot my first one is on the 30th:S

Ha. Cool.

I think thats one of the only things you can't just stop and think about not doing because that would be wasting time but if you are doing something but overloking not to waste time you are just wasting time......hmm....brain fart.
