" All examination material and answer booklets submitter on your behalf for assessment will become the physical and intellectual property of the SQA. Consequently, we are normally unable to return such items to you. When you submit examination material and answer booklets to the SQA for assessment, you permit the SQA to use free of charge any copyright or other intellectual property comprised in that examination material or answer booklets for any purposes we think appropriate (including its use as teaching and exemplification material), although we will not disclose your name or SCN."
...Those futha muckers...basically we are working our selves into the ground just to pass the exam however they get complete copyright privelages of it. They don't even give the pupils who have done the original work any recognition! For all I know my English writing exam could appear in the next version of the SQA English Grammer Booklet without my knowledge and with no recognition of me at all....it's soooooo unfair:(
That way you can still get the Nobel Prize later on rather than one of them.
Surely there's a way of opting out of that intellectual property rights thing though? Can't you attach a note to your material saying something along the lines of: "I hereby grant you permission to use this material for educational purposes only, but if I catch you profiting from it I'll sue you, mofos" ?
