§n][pe® started a thread earlier about how much he thinks he is going to be paid this summer, so I was just wondering what the worst job you have ever had is, both pay wise and work wise.
The worst paid job I ever have had was at JJB Sport where I was on £2.60 an hour, my job was basically security guard, and I was only 16 at the time.

As this is my first real Job, It has to win.
Mine was at Poundstretcher last year. £2.50 an hour, a Scottish cow of a boss who shouted at us every day and being dragged in for meetings every month purely for her to shout at us. Plus 8 hours of listening to 'Poundstretcher' music every Saturday (Robbie William's 'Angels' sung by someone who didn't sound anything like him: eugh!)
I once worked on a factory production line making time switches for £4.10 an hour. (This was back in 1986 so the pay wasn't too bad).
My job was to sit there, pick a metal cup off a conveyor belt, put the cup in a machine, and pull down a guard whilst the machine punched a little hole in the side of the cup, put the cup back on the conveyor belt, and pick up the next one.
again, and again, and again, and again, and again...
8 hours a day, 5 days a week.
I lasted 3 months.

They said I wasn’t intimidating enough so they wanted me to put on a dog suit and do this myself.

In reply to the actual topic, I have never had a job so I can't anwser. It's a real shame, but soon maybe I can reply with my first job being the worst one. And it would be because it's the only one. You see?

I am 6'1, but I think it's more that they didn't want to pay £6 per hour for a real security guard.
